Whatever the weather it hasn't stopped visitors from all over the globe visit this part of mid-Wales. The diverse weather is part of the experience visitors treasure and memories they take home. The scenery from our cottages is vast and views of rolling hills do not get spoilt by snow. In fact, snow really show off the contours of the land with wonderful shapes and stunning views.
If your looking for somewhere to go for your next holiday, consider mid Wales as a destination. With lovely walks, cycling routes, hill walking, canal walks, fishing etc. there is plenty to do regardless of the weather. The Montgomeryshire Canal, is now being reborn. The canal is teeming with wildlife and is very tranquil with many sites to see along the way. 7 miles long, a short stretch at Llanymynech, and a central section of the canal around Welshpool and restoration work is continually being carried out to expand this.
Our local theatre in Newtown, Powys is also having a popular Easter with a host of events taking place. If you fancy a trip to the theatre which is about half an hours drive from our cottages then check out their website http://www.mwldan.co.uk/ where you can see what performances they have coming up.
